A little about me
A little about you
I'm a fully-licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in private practice who treats individuals and couples experiencing relationship issues, career challenges, major life transitions (grief, parenting, divorce, etc.), anxiety, depression, and issues around identity and sexuality.
Most of my caseload consists of New Yorkers in their 20s-40s trying to relieve psychological symptoms and live as their most vital selves. I specialize in working with people experiencing challenges in creative industries/the arts, as well as burnout from high-stress positions in finance, tech, and law.
My method is psychoanalytically-informed and individualized to your needs. I strive to be as authentic and 'real' as possible in order to confront barriers to your personal growth and help you gain better insight into emotional and relational patterns that lead to psychological distress.

I find that once-per-week at the same time slot works best for most people starting therapy. There is consistency and ritual with this frequency that helps build a therapeutic relationship and gets to the heart of your matters more quickly and consistently.
After establishing a rapport and finding some relief, many patients choose to increase frequency to 2x per week for deeper psychoanalytically-oriented work, while some choose to attend biweekly in order to maintain progress they’ve made.

My full rate for individual therapy (45-minute sessions) is $200. For couples, I charge $275 per hour. I am in-network with Aetna and United Healthcare at the moment, and I can help you file for out-of-network insurance benefits so that you might be reimbursed for therapy.

No; medication management is done by psychiatrists, GPs, and RNs. In addition to routine talk therapy, I can help refer you to clinicians that can help prescribe and manage medication to help alleviate your psychological symptoms.

While I do encourage you to come to my office in Manhattan, I understand that is not feasible for everyone. I am happy to provide therapy via secure telehealth video or phone.

A good fit in the therapeutic relationship is the most reliable indicator of successful treatment. I offer a free consultation to hear about what’s bringing you to therapy now and assess if we might be a good fit. If we choose not to move forward for any reason, I will provide you with referrals that can help meet your current mental health needs.
